Skyline Medical Continues to Expand in the Interventional Radiology Market

MINNEAPOLIS, MN / ACCESSWIRE / January 16, 2015 / Minnesota based Skyline Medical Inc. (OTCQB:SKLN), announced the sale of a STREAMWAY System to Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, an academic health center in central Pennsylvania. The unit is for placement in Radiology Biopsy Services with a central focus on thoracentesis and paracentesis procedures in addition to fine needle aspirations and biopsies.

Annually the Medical Center admits more than 29,000 patients, accepts more than 911,000 outpatient visits, receives nearly 67,000 emergency room patients and performs more than 29,000 surgical procedures. Skyline's STREAMWAY System is used in ultrasound suites as a cost saving, safe method to manage waste fluid.
