CES 2017 Savari Inc. today announced that the company will demonstrate its industry-leading V2X technology and safety applications for self-driving cars and highly autonomous vehicles in the CES Gold Lot. Savari’s technology will be featured in multiple driving demonstrations around the CES Self-Driving Technology Marketplace and can also be found in the Delphi/AT&T (NP-6) and NXP (NP-2) booths.

Earlier this month, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) announced a new rule for V2V communications in all new light-duty vehicles, paving the way for widespread adoption of the technology1. According to the DOT and validated by numerous trials over the past eight years, V2V technology will prevent 80 percent of all traffic accidents that occur on roadways annually. This results in a reduction of hundreds of thousands of crashes every year in the U.S. alone.
