Brooks’ focus at SGN will be to align strong talent and entertainment properties with innovative digital opportunities on a global stage. With 15 years of experience in entertainment and deep connections in the industry, Josh has the access to build entertainment and talent into a real business for SGN, and accelerate the company’s inroads into Hollywood.

“Josh is an innovative consumer marketer and his media-savvy entertainment background is the perfect fit for SGN,” said Chris DeWolfe, CEO of SGN. “His skillset will provide a veteran framework for our growth to international scale.”

Prior to joining SGN, Brooks founded On The Run Technologies launching the mobile app Postcard on the Run in partnership with Selena Gomez, which was powered by a critically acclaimed, proprietary mobile technology. As the Marketing and Programming Chief at MySpace, Josh created innovative tent-pole programs in music, film and comedy that contributed to the company’s jet-fueled growth leading up to the News Corp acquisition.

Brooks previously managed the rock group Queens of the Stone Age and was a founding member of Fanscape, a leading digital marketing agency. He was also a winner in the inaugural “SoCalTech 50,” which recognizes the most influential technology and media executives in the Los Angeles Region.
