Tokyo, Japan - January 15^th, 2018 (JST)- Executive search firm CDSi K.K. (hereinafter CDS) announces the appointment of Struan McKay to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 1st, 2018.

McKay joined CDS to launch a new Industrial team in 2007. He has also managed the Technology and Consumer teams, before stepping up to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) position to oversee all consulting teams since 2016. McKay has been involved in executive search since 2003, successfully executing on positions in market entry and start-up projects for foreign capital clients along with C-level placements for small to medium-sized firms looking to strategically reinforce or upgrade their management teams in Japan. Prior to recruitment, his background included production, engineering, and factory management roles, with over 16 years' experience in Nissan Motor, Mars, Nestlé, and SCA. McKay gained an engineering degree from the University of Strathclyde and an M.B.A. from Durham University Business School.

John Tucker, the previous CEO since 2009, has been promoted to Regional Head, Southeast Asia and Japan, at RGF Executive Search based in Singapore, also effective January 1st, 2018.
