ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Dr. David Greenlaw, Founder of Adventist University of Health Sciences (ADU), has announced he plans to retire July 31, 2017, after serving 27 years as the University's founder and President. ADU is currently celebrating its own 25th Anniversary. Dr. Greenlaw has guided the University's growth from conception 27 years ago, to a fully-accredited institution of academic and spiritual excellence.
During his tenure, the student body has grown from 243 students to nearly 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students. In addition, the 10 faculty and staff members who started the school have grown to over 250 strong. At its opening, ADU only offered four associate degrees and one certificate, but now has expanded to over 20 degrees at every level: associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral.
Dr. Greenlaw expressed his admiration for the school and its employees.
