This announcement is referring to the article appeared in The Edge Financial Daily dated 19 December 2016 pertaining to the takeover offer received by the Company from a local investment fund to acquire a controlling 51% stake of the Company.
The Company wishes to inform that its major shareholder, Mr Eg Kah Yee ('Mr Eg') had on mid of November 2016 received an email from the local investment fund offering to take over his entire shareholdings in the Company.
The Company wishes to clarify that Mr Eg currently holds only 17.161% equity interest in the Company instead of 51% as reported.
Further, the Company wishes to inform that the Company did not receive any takeover offer as erroneously reported in the said article.
The Company will make the necessary announcement(s) of any material information and development (if there is any) in compliance with the ACE Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
