Technical progress makes life easier. Machines are increasingly taking over from humans, and where they are unable to replace us completely they are still our indispensable assistants. They just need to be properly directed. Today it is difficult to imagine a world without them, or a home without a gas or electric cooker, washing machine or fridge. Appliances change our surroundings and are subject to change themselves, even more so than humans, and new ones provide ever greater convenience. Thus every now and then the new takes the place of the old, better replaces worse.

When planning changes to your home, whether spontaneously or after serious consideration, it is worth turning to Amica. And when on the lookout for new appliances, you have to consider how to match them to your own expectations with regard to aesthetics and functionality. New products in the fitted cooker segment consist mainly of Integra with traditional gas hob and gas on glass hobs, both in energy class A, with cast iron pan supports and Ts sensor programmer, as well as appliances fitted with OptiGas and 8 oven functions. Most of the new appliances can be found among fitted sets where the Amica Fusion line of fitted ovens and cookers, launched last year, stands out.

There are also many novelties among chimney hoods which can be selected to suit Fusion and Integra heating appliances. Together these will form a perfect set, significantly increasing your working comfort when preparing meals.

And on the subject of meals, there are new inox coloured compact microwave ovens for those who enjoy quick home cooking, with stainless steel interiors, a capacity of 38 litres and 5 heat settings, equipped with electronic controls, timed defrosting, multi-stage heating, grid and 1500 W grill.

The new dishwashers are the 45 and 60 cm freestanding EasyWash, in white and inox, energy class A and cleaning performance A. Equipped with 6 washing programmes (Short, Intensive, Everyday, 3in1, Express 60 and Eco), LED indicators, automated water hardness detection and Hot Air Drying system. They will wash 9 (45 cm) or 12 (60 cm) sets of dishes at once - quietly, economically and very efficiently.

It is among the washing machines that the most novelties are to be found - BasicControl and NavigatorPlus. This second line in particular is worth of some attention, if only for its LCD display which simplifies communication, and for its advanced functions unavailable on other appliances. One especially noteworthy feature common to both lines is the Auto Sensor, which automatically selects the amounts of water and power necessary for the effective washing process.
