Jakarta, 24/01/2017 MoF - The United State has inaugurated President Trump whose new policy may become new challenge for Indonesia's government. However, Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Agency (LPS) stated that the biggest risk is coming from national condition.
'The biggest risk is actually coming from domestic condition which is national stability either economic or political sector,' she says during an interview in Jakarta, Monday (23/01).
President Trump mentioned that he is going to stipulate regulation to protect the country. 'Indonesia will be affected by China's condition, because the real war is between U.S. and China. But, Trump is unpredictable person,' she says.
Hence, amid the global uncertainty, the government is expected to be able to enhance national economy. 'We need to enhance domestic economy,' she says. She believes, the government is preparing various policies. 'How we increase equitable development and income as well as competitiveness,' she explains.(as/rsa)
