Jakarta, 20/01/2016 MoF - The Ministry of Finance is implementing Institutional Transformation in all echelon I units. In the Secretariat General, particularly, the transformation aimed at boosting the effective implementation of the functions within the Secretariat General and the Ministry of Finance. 'Secretariat General is expected to be an organization that could promote the improvement of MoF's performance quality,' said the Secretary General in an exclusive interview with Media Keuangan, after giving Keynote Address in the event of The 4th ASEAN Audit Regulators Group (AARG) Meeting and Inspection Workshop, Bali, Wednesday (20/01).

According to him, the transformation reflects four things. The first is business processes simplification. 'If the decision-making at the Secretariat General and cross-echelon I of the Ministry of Finance is simplified, the process will be shorter,' he said. Secondly, the increase in the public service which is indicated by service satisfaction survey. This is in line with the business process simplification. 'If the business process is shorter, the service will improve,' he added.

Third is the Human Resources (HR) capacity in addressing the regional and global challenges. 'We must be able to catch-up the challenges, including the improvement of better services. Finally, the IT utilization aimed at facilitating the business process. 'IT must be able to address the problem of business processes and public services,' said Hadiyanto. (as)
