Beauty industry sales stabilized in 2013, although it's the first time in several years that sales have not beaten the CPG average. While typically enjoying 3 percent growth, this year's beauty industry eked out less than 1 percent growth. Has mass beauty petered out, is channel shifting contributing to the decline in dollars or is another trend underway?
