TNB would like to clarify that the information circulating on social media regarding a nationwide blackout on December 18th is false.

Senior General Manager Corporate Affairs and Communication Datuk IR. Mohd Aminuddin said 'Consumers are advised to refrain from sharing the posting as it has now resulted in confusions.'

To get an updated information on TNB's scheduled maintenance work, Mohd. Aminuddin said consumers can refer to TNB's website at https://www.tnb.com.my/residential/power-alert/

Alternatively, he said the public can get in touch with TNB's customer service personnel via TNB Careline Facebook page or its toll free number at 1300885454.
