Government of Canada : FedNor Invests in Infrastructure to Boost Tourism and Deliver Community and Cultural Benefits for the Town of Coniston and Surrounding Areas

A Government of Canada investment of $11,319 will enable the Coniston Curling Club to transform its building into an all-season facility, helping to attract tourists to the area for sporting events and ensure this important community facility remains safe, efficient and welcoming to residents and visitors alike.

Marc Serré, Member of Parliament for Nickel Belt, made the announcement today, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, and Minister responsible for FedNor. Provided through the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program (), the investment will be used to upgrade the Club's heating and cooling system by replacing two furnaces and installing a new water heating and air conditioning system.
