Entities that are not authorised to accept deposits or other repayable funds: “Parafi Gestion” and “Paraíso Fidalgo – Unipessoal, Lda.”

1. Banco de Portugal warns that the supposed entity with the commercial name of 'Parafi Gestion' is not authorised to carry out in Portugal any financial activity subject to the supervision of Banco de Portugal, in particular the activity of accepting deposits or other repayable funds.

2. Furthermore, the entity 'Paraíso Fidalgo - Unipessoal, Lda.', with the tax number 515918253, owned by Christopher Jean Pierre Johnny Jumeau, with the tax number 303132566, is also not authorised to carry out in Portugal any financial activity subject to the supervision of Banco de Portugal, in particular the activity of accepting deposits or other repayable funds.

3. In Portugal, deposits and other repayable funds, as provided for in Article 4 (1) (a) of the Legal Framework of Credit Institutions and Financial Companies (approved by Decree-Law No 298/92 of 31 December 1992), may only be accepted by the entities authorised for the purpose in accordance with the provisions laid down in Article 10 of the above-mentioned Legal Framework, whose list is available for consultation on Banco de Portugal's website.
