President of Ecole Polytechnique Jacques Biot and Provost of Education and Reseach of Ecole Polytechnique Frank Pacard welcomed Ambassador of Guinea in France H.E Amara Camara on September, 20 at l'X. They discussed the recent evolutions of the Guinean educational system and the major challenges that this West-African 10-million-inhabitant country will have to face in the upcoming years.
President Jacques Biot reaffirmed the support of École Polytechnique to Guinea in the rebuilding process of university excellence courses. This engagement is in line with the agreement signed in June 2017 between l'X and Gamal Abdel Nasser University of Conakry which used to be called 'Institut Polytechnique' and managed by a former student of l'X for a few years after its opening in 1962.
