Wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles in December 2012

In December 2012, against December 2011, the turnover of enterprises engaged in wholesale and retail trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles was on the increase

Based on the provisional data, Statistics Lithuania informs that in December 2012, the turnover of enterprises engaged in wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles amounted to LTL 613.4 million and, against November, decreased by 11.8 per cent at constant prices. The largest decrease was observed in trade in trucks, trailers, semi-trailers, camping vehicles - by 15.8, wholesale trade in motor vehicle parts and accessories - 12.7 per cent.

Over the year (December 2012, against December 2011), the turnover of enterprises engaged in wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 4.7 per cent at constant prices. The largest increase was observed in wholesale trade in motor vehicle parts and accessories - by 16.7 per cent.
