Would you like to join DairyCo's team of professionals? DairyCo is now recruiting three extension officers and one technical extension officer.
The three available areas for these extension officer roles are South West, West Midlands and Wales - where Welsh speaking is highly desirable. The extension team plays a leading role in delivering DairyCo's mission. Extension officers provide a direct link to dairy farmers across GB. As the local face of DairyCo you would be responsible for facilitating knowledge transfer via open meetings and discussion groups with farmers, visiting farmers to further promote DairyCo resources, and by working closely with industry partners to both deliver knowledge transfer and further promote DairyCo resources.
The technical extension officer will focus on Buildings/Slurry/Milking Equipment/Cow Flow and works in close partnership with head of extension and regional team leaders to deliver a cost effective and efficient technical service to dairy farmers across Great Britain.
