(Alliance News) - Two UK universities have gone live with Crossword Cybersecurity PLC's platform Rizikon Assurance, the company announced on Tuesday.

Crossword is a cybersecurity company focused on cyber strategy and risk, supply chain cyber, threat detection and response, and digital identity. It is headquartered in London and works with UK universities.

Rizikon Assurance is Crossword's bestselling third party supply chain assurance platform. It enables medium to large companies to assess and manage risks from suppliers, and supports Crossword's end-to-end supply chain cyber standard operating model.

In addition to universities, Crossword's clients include FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 listed companies. Clients operate in various sectors such as insurance, private equity and defence.

Prior to winning the two university contracts, Crossword attended the national conference of the Universities and Colleges Information Systems Association, of which the company is a member. UCISA is the professional body representing digital practitioners in the education sector.

Shares in Crossword were down 6.3% at 7.50 pence on Tuesday in London.
