Company executes 10,000 SF lease at Laguna Gateway; to relocate from Stockton

The City of Elk Grove and PDM Steel Service Centers, Inc. announced the company's corporate relocation from Stockton, California to Elk Grove. PDM Steel, a subsidiary of Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. (NYSE:RS), has executed a 10,000 SF lease for office space at Jackson Properties Incorporated's Laguna Gateway project at 9245 Laguna Springs Drive. The lease brings the 72,000 SF three-story Class-A office building to 100% occupancy.

PDM Steel is a 60 year-old company founded in San Jose, California that is an industry leading steel supplier in the western United States with ten service locations in California, Washington, Nevada, Colorado, Idaho, and Utah. Sean Mollins, President and COO of PDM Steel, cites Elk Grove's excellent location in the Sacramento metro market, ease of doing business, and high quality of life and amenities as key determinants in the company's decision to move its corporate headquarters.

PDM Steel is now operating in Elk Grove. The company employs approximately 19 management and administrative staff at its headquarters.
