BEIJING, March 5 (Reuters) - China will step up exploration and development of oil, natural gas and strategic minerals to ensure energy and resource security, according to a work report from the Chinese premier to the opening of China's annual parliament meeting on Tuesday.
China will tighten control over fossil fuels consumption, Premier Li Qiang said in the report.
