Ms. Ying Dai is a Consultant at CRU International Co. Ltd.
She was responsible for data collection and market research from upstream to downstream across the value chain of China’s lead and zinc industries, feasibility studies of new projects and development planning of non-ferrous metals committed by the government.
Ying joined CRU Consulting's Beijing team in 2016 and contributed to a number of major China related studies since.
Her recent projects included: a study of the cobalt supply chain in China that maps out domestic cobalt flow from raw materials sources, processing, and downstream end-use sectors, and that builds price structure for this market; analysis of battery grade materials based on demand and supply inputs for price forecasts of battery grade metals products and price assessment of these products; a market study on Chinese manganese, including fundamental base of manganese ores, EMM, chemicals and FeMn, as a part of a bankable feasibility study for new manganese deposits.
Before joining CRU, Ying Dai worked for Beijing General Research Institute of Mining & Metallurgy (BGRIMM) on market analysis, mainly for lead, zinc and other non-ferrous metals.
Ms. Ying graduated from K.U.
Leuven, Belgium with an MA degree in Material and Metallurgy Engineering in 2012.
She also holds a BA degree in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, Beijing.
