Will Urban is a global trade, logistics and supply chain expert who is uniquely qualified to help companies scale and grow.
Will began his career with Expeditors (a Fortune 500 Global Logistics Company) in 1994 as a Management Trainee after a chance meeting with founder and former CEO Peter Rose while working as an intern for the Port of Seattle.
His 25-year career working in many leadership roles within the company culminated with him overseeing all sales and operations activities for approximately 1,000 full time employees.
Currently, Will is the Chief Revenue Officer for Flexport, responsible for the companies geographies, go-to-market strategy, net revenue, client solutions and operational execution.
With his operational expertise in global trade, logistics and supply chain, and after seeing literally thousands of companies navigate global trade over the years, Will now puts his passion and industry knowledge to work helping firms grow.
During his tenure at Expeditors, many had approached him to help guide, consult and advise on their supply chains - most notably hedge funds, venture capital firms and tech companies.
Will has spent the last 25 years watching both the freight forwarding community and its customers struggle to understand each other’s markets and priorities which gives him a unique position to bridge that gap and help companies meet their current and long-term goals.
