The firm is a subsidiary of Marshall Wace North America LP, ultimately owned by MW Group LP in Great Britain. Marshall Wace Singapore provides alternative investment solutions to high-net-worth clients.

Marshall Wace Asia Ltd. (MWA) is the alternative investment subsidiary of MW Ltd., itself a subsidiary of MW Group LP in Great Britain. In 2008, the firm formed an Asian joint venture with GaveKal Holdings to promote GaveKal's long-only expertise and develop a stable of hedge funds, including the Marshall Wace GaveKal Asian Opportunities fund and two Japanese hedge funds. In 2013, they dissolved the joint venture and Marshall Wace absorbed the long/short funds. Headquartered in Hong Kong, MWA was founded in 2006 and offers a diverse set of alternative, long-only and bespoke investment solutions to a broad range of investors.
