Thomas Williams Littauer

Prior to joining the firm in April 2002, Mr. Littauer served as Managing Director of Scudder Kemper Investments, Inc., which is now known as Zurich Scudder Investments, Inc., and the Head of Asia Pacific and Americas, ex-US, Global Mutual Fund Group with special emphasis on Canada, Japan, Korea.
Mr. Littauer was named Chairman of the Board of the Scudder Global Opportunities Funds.
Previously, Mr. Littauer was President of Kemper Funds and oversaw the company’s retail activities including field sales, marketing, transfer operations, shareholder services, sales support, information technology, fund accounting and was also responsible for Kemper Annuities.
In addition Mr. Littauer served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Kemper Mutual Funds and was a member of the Global Mutual Fund Management Committee.
Mr. Littauer has also served as managing director and head of the broker/dealer division of Boston-based Putnam Investments.
He was responsible for distribution of all Putnam Funds through six national broker/dealers and 23 regional firms.
Mr. Littauer was a member of Putnam’s executive committee.
Previously, he held several positions with Fidelity Investments between 1990 and 1996, including that of president, client management services; executive vice president, strategic advisors; and president, Fidelity Investments Canada Ltd.
Mr. Littauer began his mutual fund career with Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois-based Van Kampen American Capital in 1981, where he ran the distribution company and was a member of the operating committee.
He has served on various committees with the ICI and Forum for Investor Advice.
Mr. Littauer received his B.A.
degree in economics from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois.
He attended the U.S.
Naval Academy from 1974-1976.
