Ms. Murphy joined Tri-Artisan in 2008.
Prior to Tri-Artisan, Ms. Murphy was a Managing Director at Delphi Capital Management, the holding company for Acorn Advisory Capital and Pergamon Partners, where she was a member of Acorns Investment Committee and responsible for building a $1 billion hedge fund in the equity market neutral space.
Prior to joining Delphi, Ms. Murphy served as the Managing Director in charge of alternative investments for C.E Unterberg Towbin (CEUT), a boutique investment bank in New York.
While at CEUT, Ms. Murphy developed the firms brand in the alternative investment area and was instrumental in launching a hedge fund in partnership with Standard & Poors and a fund of funds.
Prior to joining CEUT, Ms. Murphy served in various capital markets roles at Drexel Burnham and Morgan Stanley, with expertise in convertible bonds and U.S.
equities.
Ms. Murphy received a BA, magna cum laude from Wheaton College.
She was also a member on the Presidents Commission of Wheaton College and served on its Investment Committee.
Ms. Murphy currently serves on the Investment Committee of Acorn Advisory Capital.
