Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Butler was with Sanford C.
Bernstein and Co., Inc. (and subsequently AllianceBernstein) in a variety of sales and marketing, client service and portfolio management roles.
Most recently he was a part of the firm’s Global Institutional Consultant Relations group responsible for relationships with the pension consultant community, specifically covering Bernstein’s value equity services.
Prior to that, he was responsible for sales and client service of the firm’s northeastern middle- and small-market institutional clients.
Mr. Butler spent two years as an assistant portfolio manager of international value equities, responsible for portfolio oversight and asset allocation shifts of global balanced accounts.

in Marketing from Santa Clara University.
