With over 30 years experience investing in early stage technology companies, he is one of the most experienced venture investors in Texas.
Prior to founding Clutch, Steve was the President and Managing Director at Hunt Ventures/Covera Ventures and established the Austin office in 1999.
Previous to Hunt Ventures, Steve was Vice President of Hunt Financial Corporation where he managed investments in public equities, private equity and venture capital partnerships.
He also led direct investments in both early stage technology companies and buyouts.
Earlier in his career, he worked at Davis Venture Partners which was a venture firm focused on both early and later-stage investments.
Steve has a BS from Oklahoma State University and an MBA with honors from The University of Texas at Austin.
