Sandra Budimir

Sandra Budimir co-founded Starburst Europe, the world’s first aerospace and defence start-up accelerator.
As the Partner for Starburst Europe, Sandra is at the crossroads of the strategic innovation concerns of the ASD industry in Europe.
Since starting her career in 2004, she has worked on high-stakes military programs in France, Germany, Spain and Brazil.
Throughout her career, she has met, rubbed shoulders with and integrated into her teams, enthusiasts of all nationalities and levels: from young doctoral students to the presidents of major industrial groups, including former military personnel in retraining.
In 2017, she joined the 70th class of the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale (IHEDN), national defence policy section.
At the end of 2020, she supervised the creation of BLAST, the first DeepTech acceleration programme in France in the aeronautics, space and defence sectors, powered by Starburst in collaboration with ONERA, SATT Paris-Saclay and the Ecole polytechnique.
