Robert Horton

Mr. Robert L.
Horton is a Director & Research Analyst at Lazard Asset Management LLC.
He is on the Developing Markets Equity team, focusing on the technology sector.
Prior to joining Lazard in 2011, Mr. Horton was a Director and Portfolio Manager at Merrill Lynch, where he created and managed both Developed and Emerging Markets multi-manager portfolios, and acted as a due diligence analyst for several asset classes.
He also worked as a news analyst at Trade The News and founded a real estate management company.
Previously, Mr. Horton was with Zurich Scudder Investments, where he was first a Research Analyst and later became a lead Portfolio Manager.
He started his career in the investment field at Martin Simpson & Company as a Research Associate.
He began working in the investment field in 1993.
Mr. Horton has an MBA in International Business and Finance from the University of Connecticut in Stamford and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University.
He is also a CFA charter holder.
