The company makes all-season synthetic fabrics used primarily in apparel and footwear under the brand name Polartec found in products sold by apparel retailers like Lands End, Timberland and in its own store. Its fabrics are used in branches of USA military including Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and special operations forces. The company was founded by Henry Feuerstein in 1906 and is headquartered in Lawrence, MA.
