Phil A. Guertin

In addition to his current role with Waveland, Mr. Guertin serves as Controller for Vanguard Stimulation Services, LLC, a Waveland private equity portfolio company.
He has extensive experience in the mortgage banking industry as well a senior financial analyst, financial manager, or controller.
Prior to joining Waveland, Mr. Guertin was a trader in the secondary mortgage market for one of the largest mortgage originators in the country.
He was responsible for the disposition of pooled loan assets ranging between dollar 100 to dollar 500 million per month with large portfolio buys, such as Fannie Mae, CitiMortgage, HSBC and GMAC.
Also at New Century, he served as Financial Manager responsible for the management and oversight of accounting and financial matters including budget preparation and consolidation, federal and state tax filings and compliance with HUD's regulatory laws.
Mr. Guertin has a BA from California State University, Fullerton and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
