Mr. van Wyk joined Oaktree in May 2007 from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he spent twelve years as a Director of Tax, the last six years focusing exclusively on Investment Management clients.
Before that, he spent five years at Price Waterhouse LLP as a Senior Associate in the Audit and Tax departments.
Mr. van Wyk received his B.A.
degree in Economics and Business, magna cum laude, from the University of California at Los Angeles and an M.B.A.
degree with honors from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
