Prior to joining EdgePoint in September 2008, Ms. Kao was Manager of Regional Associates at Invesco Trimark (formerly AIM Trimark Investments and Trimark Investment Management) from January 2006 to October 2008.
In this role, she mentored and managed a team of Regional Associates supporting financial advisors in various regions across Ontario.
Before this promotion, she was a regional associate from March 2000 to August 2008, where she built and maintained relationships and supported financial advisors in the south-western Ontario region.
Previously, she was a personal banker at TD Canada Trust.
Ms. Kao earned her Honours B.Comm degree and her MBA degree from the University of Toronto.
