Mr. Norman Jaffe, CFA MBA, is a Managing Director at FSI Group, Inc. He joined FSI in 2010.
He has several years of experience in the Global Financial Services Industry and focuses on private and public investments for the firm.
Prior to joining FSI, Mr. Jaffe was a Partner at SuNova Capital LP, a global financial services hedge fund where he teamed with others to design quantitative investment screens, coordinate research and recommend asset allocation for its domestic funds.
Prior to 2003, he was a Managing Director and Director of Research for Fox-Pitt, Kelton Inc, a research boutique specializing in the Global Financial Services Industry.
At Fox-Pitt, he facilitated successful funding of more than 15 bank and thrift recapitalizations sold to Institutional investors and crafted bank stock research that led to leadership rankings in Institutional Investor and Greenwich surveys.
From 1994 to 2001, he served as a Board of Director for U.S.
Financial Equities PLC, an offshore mutual fund that invested in mid-to-small cap U.S.
Financial Institutions for Foreign Institutional investors.
Mr. Jaffe earned a BA in Economics and Geography from Clark University and a MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the Institute of Charted Financial Analysts.
