Formerly known as Swissca Fondsleitung AG, the firm was founded in 1993 as a joint venture between the Swiss Cantonal Banks. Headquartered in Zurich, Swisscanto provides fund management services for the entire Swisscanto Invest fund range and also for various private label funds. Their clients include banks, pension funds, insurance companies, fund management companies and investment foundations.

Credit Suisse Asset Management Funds SGR SpA (CSAMF) is the wholly-owned Italian asset management arm of Credit Suisse Asset Management Holding Europe (Luxembourg) SA, ultimately held by Credit Suisse Group AG (VX: CSGN, ADR: CS) in Switzerland. Headquartered in Milan, CSAMF manages funds for CSGN and discretionary portfolios for institutional clients and private individuals.
