Martin Feldkircher

Mr. Martin Feldkircher is an Economist at Österreichische Nationalbank.
He joined the firm in October 2008.
He focuses on forecasting, macro-financial analysis, and assessing contagion and spillover effects for Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe.
He began his career as a Researcher at Capital Bank AG.
From May 2005 to September 2005, he worked at the Wirtschaftsforschungsinstitut WIFO.
There he contributed to the research project Centrope by applying spatial data analysis and mapping tools.
From October 2007 to September 2008, he was an Economist at FSC Financial Soft Computing GmbH.
He focused on econometric analysis of financial time series data, including forecast combination via predictive averaging and co-integration analysis to do Pairs Trading.
From April 2012 to June 2012, he was visiting researcher at the Bank of Finland.
