The firm was formed following the merger between National City and First of America Bank Corp. in 1985. AAM manages the Armada/Allegiant fund family out of Cleveland, while private client portfolios are managed out of offices in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Grand Rapids, Michigan and Fort Wayne, Indiana.
