Before starting A&M Capital Europe in 2017, Mark was a Managing Director & Partner with H.I.G.
Capital, a €45 billion global private equity fund.
Mark headed H.I.G.’s LBO office in Chicago and was a founding member of H.I.G.
Europe.
Prior to H.I.G., Mark was the COO of Brakes Group, Europe’s largest foodservice company, and CEO of Pauley’s Foods.
Previously, he was with Bain & Company’s private equity group in San Francisco and London.
Mark began his career with the Smurfit Kappa Group in Dublin, Ireland.
Mark is currently Chairman of Ayesa and Bollé Brands, and a Director of IBG, La Patria, Pet Network International, and Carton Pack.
Mark is an Irish national and holds an MBA Degree from Harvard University and received a BSc (Hons.) and an MA from Trinity College Dublin.
Mark speaks English and French and has substantial board level experience in France, Benelux, Italy, Spain, Ireland and the UK.
