Mr. Mark E.
Faircloth is Vice Chairman at TD Securities.
He is responsible for overseeing the sales, trading and origination for TD Securities’ Rates & FX businesses globally and shares responsibility for TD Securities’ Energy business.
As a member of the TD Securities Management Committee, he plays a key role on the firm’s senior leadership team.
Mr. Faircloth began his career as a trainee with Greenshields in 1979 in the fixed income area; culminating in 1992 with his role as Executive Vice President and Head of Capital Markets and a member of the Board of Directors of James Richardson.
In 1994 he assumed responsibility for the Institutional Equity department.
In 1996, Richardson Greenshields merged with RBC Dominion Securities, where he took on the position of Vice President and Director of Capital Markets.
In 1997, he was recruited by Canada Trust to become President and CEO of CT Securities.
Canada Trust was purchased by TD Bank in 1999 and he became Senior Vice President of TD Bank and Vice Chairman of Global Fixed Income for TD Securities.
Mr. Faircloth graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A in Economics.
