Lahti is a Portfolio Manager at New Century Investment Management, Inc. He joined the firm in September 2000.

Prior to that position, Mr. Lahti was a practicing attorney in the State of Michigan for fifteen years.
He argued cases in all levels of State Court, including the Michigan Supreme Court, as well as Federal District Court.
He advised numerous individuals, partnerships and corporations on a wide variety of matters.
Mr. Lahti holds a Juris Doctor Cum Laude from the Wayne State University Law School, Detroit, Michigan (1984).
He has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Michigan Honors College of Literature, Science and the Arts, Ann Arbor, Michigan (1981), where he was a Regents-Alumni Scholar.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Detroit Country Day School High School, Birmingham, Michigan (1977).
