Profile

Lydia Theunissen is the Director of Human Resources at Dimensions International, Inc. (DI).
Ms. Theunissen has executive responsibility and authority for all functions of personnel and benefits management, including policy development and documentation, progressive discipline procedures, compensation systems and salary administration programs, benefits and retirement programs, employee communications and training, employee relations, recruiting support, and approval for all hiring and termination decisions.
Ms. Theunissen is responsible for keeping abreast of current topics in labor law as well as benefits, retirement, and health care options and reform and implementing programs that conform with the current business climate, for managing the salary administration program and the Service Contract Act program, chairing the Benefits Committee, and researching and presenting the impact of various laws and regulations on the operations of the company to other corporate managers.
She provides corporate guidance, on an on-going basis, on legal, managerial, and staff development issues to DI’s Management Board, Technical Directors, and Program Managers.
She holds an MBA from the George Washington University with a concentration in Business, Economics, and Public Policy and a certificate in Workplace Mediational Conflict Resolution from the Northern Virginia Mediation Service.
