Prior to joining Sterling Partners in 2008, Ms. Scheiner was Senior Human Resources Manager of The Home Depot, where she served as a strategic thought partner in supporting functions including HR, Marketing, Communications, Strategic Business Development and Legal.
In this role, Ms. Scheiner implemented HR programs and policies across areas of staffing, compensation, benefits, associate relations, learning and change management.
She also served as a Staffing Manager, responsible for developing and implementing division-wide recruiting strategies.
Her responsibilities included partnering with HR leadership and businesses to develop workforce needs, and managing the recruiting team to implement process—skills she utilizes in her role at Sterling.
Ms. Scheiner also gained international experience at The Home Depot, when she revamped the field and corporate Orientation and Assimilation process in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Mexico and Quebec.
Prior to her roles at The Home Depot, Ms. Scheiner was an Executive Recruiter for McKinsey & Co. She was also a Consultant Manager, Training & Development, for DHR International.
