Kalle has been an investment manager at 3i since 1999.

He joined 3i from Metso, where he worked with technology and strategy teams.
Kalle specialises in buyouts across Europe, mainly in Nordic countries.
Key deals that he has been involved in include Fonecta, a directories business, Finndomo, a pre-fabricated house manufacturer, Karelia, manufacturer of parquet and other flooring, Kemfine, a specialty chemicals manufacturer, and Mehiläinen/Carema a healthcare provider.
As well as having served on the boards of Finndomo and CRF and currently Kemfine, Kalle is a member of the strategic management society of Finland.
