Mr. Jung M.
Choi is a Managing Director at Hudson Securities, Inc. Mr. Choi joined Hudson in 2009 after four years of investment banking at Westminster Securities Corporation where he specialized in capital raising and advisement for Chinese companies.
During this time, Mr. Choi advised China Clean Energy (CCGY.OB) in its simultaneous reverse-merger/equity raise ($1.3 million) to become the first public China-based biodiesel producer in the U.S.
and led his team in a $15 million common stock PIPE offering for CCGY where Westminster acted as the sole placement agent.
He has also served as the principal financial advisor to CCGY since it went public in the US in 2006.
Prior to joining Westminster, Mr. Choi was a restructuring banker at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin where he transacted numerous restructurings covering both debtor-side and creditor-side engagements domestically and internationally.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Choi was a telecommunications investment banker with Salomon Smith Barney.
Mr. Choi began his career at Ford Motor Company in its Plastic and Trim Products Division where he performed numerous corporate-wide planning studies.
Mr. Choi holds a B.A.
in Economics with a minor in Political Science from Brandeis University and earned an MBA with honors from The University of Michigan.
Mr. Choi is a native South Korean and is fluent in both Korean and English.
