Julian C. Gabriel

Julian Gabriel joined Doughty Hanson in 2000 and is the Head of the real estate business.
Julian is a member of the Investment Committee and has direct responsibility for overseeing the Fund’s investment activities in the Nordic, Spanish and UK markets.
He has also had responsibility for developing and implementing investment and asset management strategies and operating systems on a pan-European basis for the real estate business.
Julian has been directly involved in the acquisition, financing, management and sale of properties across eight European markets for many years.
Before joining Doughty Hanson, he worked at Citibank where he was involved in both equity and debt-financed transactions on a pan-European basis.
Julian received an honours degree in Languages from St Andrews University and a diploma in Estate Management from London South Bank University, and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
