Dr. Santiago is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at Pennsylvania's School of Engineering and Applied Science.
He is the Faculty Master at Kings Court English College House.
His Research Interests has recently moved to the general field of Meso-scale Electro Mechanical Systems, where in collaboration with colleagues from industry and MEAM, he established the Ceramic Materials Meso-Fabrication Laboratory.
His interest in serving Penn's students constituency has led him to serve as advisor to the IEEE student chapter, The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and recently as a co-founder of La Casa Latina a Center for Hispanic Excellence.
Dr. Santiago received a PhD in Materials and Science Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1970 and a B.S.
in Physics from the University of Puerto Rico in 1966.
