John Stuermer

Before joining Bear Stearns in 1997, Dr. John Stuermer was a senior analyst in the Sovereign Risk Management Department at the First National Bank of Chicago, where he was responsible for Asia and Eastern Europe, as well as some countries in Latin America.
Dr. Stuermer has also conducted research on the Chinese economy under a Fulbright Fellowship in Tokyo and Taipei.
At the Summit, he will discuss the outlook for Asia Pacific’s banking sector and sovereigns.
