John Stephen Majoros

Mr. John S.
Majoros is a Managing Director & Director of Taxable Portfolio Management at Wasmer, Schroeder & Co. LLC.
He is responsible for the oversight of all taxable strategies.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Majoros served as a Principal of GLC Capital Management LLC (GLC) in 2001 when WSC made a decision to invest in GLC and the two firms merged in January 2008.
He previously served as First Vice President of McDonald & Company Securities, Inc. He was responsible for advising large institutional US and international clients on the purchase and sale of corporate, government and mortgage-backed securities.
Preceding his tenure with McDonald & Company Securities, Inc., he held a position in institutional fixed income sales and specialized in the coverage of total return oriented accounts for the Smith Barney unit of Travelers Corporation, now Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. Prior to that, he served as a Financial Analyst in the Office of the Chairman of Smith Barney, where he was responsible for analyzing and recommending options for potential business acquisitions, divestitures and combinations at the direction of senior management of the Firm.
Additionally, he served as the Assistant Treasurer forthe Bank of New York, where he was responsible for financial evaluation of several correspondent branch operations, as well as real estate related matters.
Mr. Majoros earned his B.B.A.
in Finance from Cleveland State University and his M.B.A.
in Finance from Fordham University.
