John Lovito

Mr. John Lovito is a Co-Chief Investment Officer of Global Fixed Income & Senior Vice President at American Century Investment Management, Inc. He is a member of the firm's Macro Strategy Team, which sets investment policy for the Fixed Income group, and leads the International Fixed Income team.
He also serves as a senior portfolio manager on the International Fixed Income strategy.
He has worked in the investment industry since 1986.
Prior to joining American Century Investment Management in 2009, Mr. Lovito worked in Lehman Brothers Asset Management, where he was managing director and head of Global Fixed Income Strategies.
In that role, he also served as lead portfolio manager for global and international mandates and chaired the Investment Strategy Committee, responsible for determining asset allocation between country, currency and sector, as well as establishing duration and yield curve policies globally.
Previously, he was senior vice president and team leader for International Fixed Income.
He also spent 15 years in various capacities with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., including global fixed income portfolio manager.
He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Fordham College and an MBA in finance from Fordham University.
