Jim Moses joined Kennedy in July, 2002 as Vice President in the Washington D.C.
office.
Mr. Moses began his commercial real estate career over fifteen years ago practicing law with international law firms in Washington, D.C.
and New York City.
Representing financial institutions, real estate investment trusts, pension funds, insurance companies, trade associations, developers and owners, his practice focused on sophisticated real estate leasing, acquisitions, sales and lending.
From 1994 through 1997, Mr. Moses was an international asset manager for over $2.5 billion of real estate for the U.S.
Department of State located in over thirty countries.
He traveled extensively overseas negotiating the lease, sale and purchase of office buildings, multi-family residential buildings, industrial properties and embassy properties.
From 1997 through 2000, Mr. Moses headed several corporate real estate departments in the Washington, D.C.
metropolitan area.
In those positions, he oversaw asset managers and security, mailroom and facilities personnel.
Most recently, Mr. Moses practiced commercial real estate law with a major international law firm in their Washington, D.C.
office.
Mr. Moses received his law degree from University of Virginia and holds a BS in accounting from Brigham Young University.
He earned his CCIM in 1997
