Mr. Jeffrey A.
Bersh is a Co-Chief Investment Officer at Venor Capital Management LP.

He has over 25 years of experience in principal investing and managing fixed income trading businesses in both high yield and distressed strategies.
Prior to founding the Firm, Mr. Bersh served as Head of the Distressed Proprietary Business at Donaldson Lufkin, Jenrette / Credit Suisse First Boston where he was responsible for the firm’s capital allocation to special situation opportunities, in addition to being the firm’s primary market maker in distressed securities.
Prior to joining DLJ in 1998, he was employed by Bear Stearns from 1996 to 1998 as a Director/Trader in the Distressed Debt Group.
Previously, he worked as an Analyst/Trader at an investment fund for Banco Santander (1994 – 1996).
He started his career at Merrill Lynch as a High Yield Research Analyst (1992 – 1994).
Mr. Bersh earned a B.B.A.
in Finance with High Distinction from Emory University in 1992.
